- “User,” “You,” “Your” refers to anyone accessing or using our services, including students, mentors, or visitors.
- “Services” refers to the mentoring services provided through our platform.
2. Eligibility

4. Services
- Students: We provide mentoring services to help students secure apprenticeships.
- Mentors: Mentors are responsible for delivering guidance and advice to students based on their expertise. While we strive to maintain a high standard of service, mentorship is for guidance purposes only and does not guarantee specific outcomes, such as securing an apprenticeship.
- Platform Role: Appreniversity acts as an intermediary platform connecting students and mentors. We do not directly provide mentoring services and are not liable for the actions or omissions of mentors.
We aim to ensure the quality of our services but do not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., securing an apprenticeship).
To ensure the safety of both students and mentors, all sessions are gender-segregated (male-to-male and female-to-female).
5. Booking and Cancellation Policy
For Students:
- Students can cancel lessons up to 48 hours before the session date to receive a refund (the cancellation period).
- Students will not be able to cancel lessons within 48 hours of the lesson start time.
- Sessions can be booked 2 days from the current time of booking at the earliest.
- Frequent cancellations without valid reasons may result in account suspension.
For Mentors:
- Mentors must regularly update their availability to prevent students from booking sessions during unavailable hours.
- If a student books a session based on a mentor’s stated availability, this will be considered the agreed session time.
- Repeated no-shows (3 times) may result in account suspension.
- Mentors must attend the full session duration to qualify for payment, even if the student does not attend.
Exceptional Circumstances:
- If either a student or mentor cannot attend a session due to exceptional circumstances within the cancellation period, they must email info@appreniversity.co.uk as soon as possible.
- Appreniversity will evaluate the situation and make a final decision, which must be respected by all parties.
6. Payment and Fees
- Payments for mentoring sessions or subscription plans must be made in advance via our payment processor.
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated under the Booking and Cancellation Policy.
- Users are responsible for any transaction fees associated with payments.
7. Safeguarding and Safety
Appreniversity is committed to providing a safe environment for both students and mentors.
- Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to info@appreniversity.co.uk.
8. Confidentiality

- Neither party may disclose information shared during sessions without prior consent, except in circumstances where there is a legal obligation to report (e.g., safeguarding concerns).
9. Recording and Monitoring of Sessions
- Mentoring sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and safeguarding purposes.
- Recordings will be stored securely for up to 90 days and accessible only to authorised Appreniversity personnel.
- Portions of recordings may be used for marketing or training purposes with prior written consent from both parties.
10. Marketing and Promotion
